Platform Description and Role
- UniMart is a campus-based online marketplace that enables users to list items and connect with other users.
- UniMart acts solely as an intermediary platform and does not own, store, or inspect listed items.
- UniMart does not handle payments or financial transactions.
- UniMart does not provide delivery, logistics, or escrow services and is not a party to user transactions.
- All transactions are conducted directly between users at their own discretion and risk.
User Eligibility
- Users must comply with all applicable laws and university regulations.
- Users must use the platform only for lawful purposes.
- UniMart reserves the right to request identity verification at its discretion.
User Responsibilities and Conduct
- Users agree to provide accurate and truthful information, communicate respectfully and in good faith, honor commitments, and use the platform responsibly and lawfully.
- Prohibited behavior includes fraud, misrepresentation, deceptive practices, harassment, abuse, spamming, misuse of platform features, and creating multiple or fake accounts.
- UniMart reserves the right to take action, including account suspension or termination.
Listing Policy and Seller Obligations
- Sellers must ensure listings accurately describe item condition and details, include clear truthful images, represent currently available items, and use appropriate categories.
- Sellers must have the legal right to sell listed items.
- Sellers must respond to inquiries in a timely manner and fulfill agreed terms with buyers.
- Sellers must update listing status promptly (e.g., mark as “Sold”).
- UniMart may remove misleading, duplicate, or inactive listings at its discretion.
Buyer Responsibilities
- Buyers are responsible for carefully reviewing listing details.
- Buyers are responsible for verifying item condition and authenticity.
- Buyers are responsible for communicating clearly with sellers.
- Buyers are responsible for inspecting items before completing payment.
- All purchase decisions are made at the buyer’s own risk.
Communication and Off-Platform Interaction
- Users communicate directly using provided contact details (e.g., WeChat, QR codes).
- Users are solely responsible for verifying the identity of the other party and ensuring safe, appropriate communication.
- UniMart does not monitor or control communications and is not responsible for interactions outside the platform.
Payments and Transaction Risk
- UniMart does not process or facilitate payments.
- Users are fully responsible for choosing secure payment methods and verifying payment before completing transactions.
- UniMart does not guarantee payment security and is not liable for payment disputes, fraud/scams, non-payment, or chargebacks.
Safety and Risk Acknowledgement
- Users are responsible for personal safety when conducting transactions.
- Users are strongly advised to meet in public or designated campus locations and exercise caution with unfamiliar individuals.
- UniMart does not guarantee the safety, reliability, or conduct of any user.
Prohibited Items
- Users may not list or sell items that are illegal, stolen, or counterfeit.
- Users may not list or sell items restricted by law or university policy.
- Users may not list or sell dangerous, hazardous, or unsafe items.
- UniMart reserves the right to remove such listings without notice.
Content and Intellectual Property
- Users are responsible for content they upload.
- By posting content, users grant UniMart a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute content for platform operation and promotion.
- Users must not upload content that violates intellectual property rights.
Account Suspension and Termination
- UniMart reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts, remove listings, and restrict platform access.
- This may occur at UniMart’s sole discretion, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms.
Dispute Disclaimer
- All disputes are strictly between users.
- UniMart is not obligated to mediate disputes but may provide limited assistance at its discretion.
- Users agree to resolve disputes independently.
No Warranty
- UniMart is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
- UniMart does not guarantee listing accuracy, item availability, successful transactions, or continuous error-free operation.
Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, UniMart is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- UniMart is not liable for losses arising from user transactions, fraud, misrepresentation, or user misconduct.
- Use of the platform is entirely at the user’s own risk.

- UniMart respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and handle your data when you use the platform.

Sharing of Information
- Your contact information (such as your WeChat QR code) is shared with other users only as part of your listing to facilitate communication. UniMart does not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
User Responsibility
- By using UniMart, you acknowledge that any contact information you include in your listings may be visible to other users. You are responsible for the information you choose to share.
Data Security
- UniMart takes reasonable measures to protect your information; however, as communication occurs outside the platform, we cannot guarantee the security of interactions between users.
Data Retention
- We retain your information only for as long as necessary to operate the platform and maintain your account. You may request deletion of your data by discontinuing use of the platform or contacting us.
Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of China.
Force Majeure
- UniMart is not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including system failures, network disruptions, or external events.
